A ‌Rubber Flap Check Valve‌ is a specific type of ‌check valve‌ designed to allow fluid (liquid or gas) to flow in ‌one direction only‌, automatically preventing reverse flow (backflow). Its key defining feature is the use of a ‌flexible rubber disc or flap‌ as the closing element.

1.‌Body/Housing:‌ The external structure, usually made of metal ductile iron, containing inlet and outlet ports.
2.‌Rubber Flap/Disc:‌ A hinge-mounted, flexible disc made of elastomeric rubber (like EPDM, NBR, Nitrile, Viton). This is the core component that opens and closes with flow.
3.‌Hinge Pin or Integral Hinge:‌ Allows the rubber flap to pivot/swing freely. Sometimes the hinge is molded directly into the rubber flap.
4.‌Seat:‌ The sealing surface (often part of the body or a separate insert) against which the rubber flap seals when closed.
5.Silent Operation (Non-Slam):‌ This is the ‌biggest advantage‌. The flexible rubber flap absorbs the impact energy as it closes, preventing the loud "slam" or "water hammer" shock common with rigid metal swing or lift check valves. Hence, it's often called a ‌Silent Check Valve‌.
6.‌Fast Closing:‌ Seals quickly upon flow reversal.
7.‌Bubble-Tight Seal:‌ The flexible rubber conforms well to the seat, minimizing leakage in the closed position.
8.‌Low Pressure Drop:‌ Offers relatively low resistance to forward flow when fully open.
9.‌Simple Design & Low Maintenance:‌ Few moving parts and the rubber flap is relatively easy to replace if worn.
10.‌Suitable for Slurries & Dirty Fluids:‌ Less prone to jamming or damage from suspended solids compared to valves with small clearances or springs.
11.Adopt epoxy painting,stronger adhesion and good weather resistance.
12.Pressure Testing Report,3.1 Certificate of Material can be provided.
