A High Performance Butterfly Valve (HPBV) is a type of butterfly valve designed for more demanding applications than general service butterfly valves. They are characterized by their ability to handle higher pressures and temperatures, offer better sealing, and provide enhanced durability and flow control. They are often used in industries like oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation.
