Valflo adopts ISO 9001 quality management system to achieve strictly controls of the whole production process.
1. Raw Material Inspection
Material Certification:Verify chemical composition and mechanical properties (e.g., tensile strength, corrosion resistance) via spectral analysis and hardness testing for castings (ASTM A216) and forgings (ASTM A105).
Dimensional Checks: Incoming materials undergo precision measurement to verify tolerances and surface integrity.
Traceability:Implement batch tracking to ensure material traceability from procurement to machining.
2. Production Process Control
Precision Machining:CNC machining with ±0.02mm tolerance for critical dimensions (e.g., seat bore, stem diameter).
Welding & Assembly:Welders are certified to ISO 9606 standards, and every weld undergoes non-destructive testing (NDT) like ultrasonic or X-ray inspection.
Painting thickness:All painting parts according to the customer thickness request.
3. Final Product Testing
Pressure Testing:Valves are subjected to hydrostatic/air pressure tests at 1.5x rated pressure as per API 598.
Functional Testing:Test the valves can open and close well.
Dimension Inspecting:Measure the valve as per drawing.
Visual Inspection:Coating or painting appearance check, valve marking verification.
Packing Inspection:Checking the packing to make sure the valve is protected and quantity right.
4. Continuous Improvement
Defect Tracking: PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles analyze recurring issues, driving corrective actions.
Audits: Third-party ISO 9001 audits ensure system effectiveness.
Quality control is implemented in each process of production and manufacturing, forming a standardized inspection and testing process. Our factory guarantees valves meet or exceed API 598, ISO 5208, and customer-specific requirements.
